Current patients have disabilities as the result of birth defects or complications, traumatic accidents, debilitating illnesses, and physical abuse and/or neglect. Highly qualified staff members provide 24-hour medical care, therapies, special education, and training and support to families. We currently care for more than 150 inpatients and 3,000 outpatients annually. Our physicians include Oklahoma’s only pediatric physiatrist (specialist in rehabilitation) and Oklahoma City’s only full-time pediatric neurologist. Our new Pediatric Medical Rehabilitation Unit, unique in Oklahoma, cares for children with traumatic brain and/or spinal cord injuries, helping them return to their homes and communities as quickly as possible.
